Mindy Bakos, Trustee

Mindy was born and raised in Northeast Ohio. She resides in Mentor, Ohio, with her husband and two kids. Joey, 17, is a Senior at Mentor High, and Vince, 19, attends the Cardinal Autism Resource and Education School. Their family attended an SAV Disney Trip in 2017, and it only makes sense that she joined SAV as a Trustee!

Mindy attended the University of Toledo and graduated with a bachelor's in Education with a major in Therapeutic Recreation. Mindy worked as a Recreational Therapist for the Cleveland Clinic for 10 years and went back to school and graduated with an Associate of Science degree from Tri-C she is currently a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.

Mindy is looking forward to using her personal, educational, and work experiences to help support SAV’s mission and bring awareness to the fantastic opportunities SAV provides for individuals with disabilities.
