Kerry Rihtar, Trustee

Kerry joined the board in August of 2008. Kerry has participated in various fund raisers for autism organizations in the past and will be very active in Share A Vision's fund raising programs.

Kerry brings first hand knowledge of autism to our board. She has three children, two of which are on the autism spectrum. As many families with autistic members may know, doing the simplest thing, like going to the grocery store, can turn into an ordeal. Being able to do a planned activity can be most rewarding. She and her family were given an amazing opportunity to go to Walt Disney World in April, 2008. Having Share A Vision help out with such excursions can really make a difference in the lives of many families. Without the help of Share A Vision this trip would not have been possible. This event prompted Kerry to join the Share A Vision board. "I truly believe that one person can make a difference in the world and I believe that being part of Share A Vision is a way that I can help enrich the lives of others."

In addition to being on the board of Share A Vision, Kerry also volunteers teaching parish religion to special needs individuals through her church.

Kerry has a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from the University of Arizona. She lives in Concord with her husband, Dave and their three children.
